Poker Arcade (June 2009)

Poker Arcade, available here in the App Store, is an anthology of six popular Video Poker games. In addition to the traditional "Jacks or Better", games included are "Deuces Wild", "Joker Poker", "Tens or Better", "Pick-a-Pile", and "Five-Hand Jacks or Better" (the only multi-hand video poker currently in the App Store, as far as we know).

All games use real casino payout tables, and the most generous available standard payouts.

Development Details

Poker Arcade was built with Corona, a new rapid development environment for iPhone. We ported the game logic and key graphical assets from a previous Flash game, converting vector playing card art to PNG files.
